Okay, so I'm a little late, but launch day is finally here! Mike Filsaime has come up with another brilliant product. This one is called Viral Friend Generator . In a moment I'm going to explain to you what this is, but first I want to talk to you for a minute about an old marketing technique called "Tell A Friend."

Tell A Friend is something that you've probably seen a thousand times even if you've never heard the term before. Okay, so you're on a website for a product you're thinking of buying - let's say it's some sort of health care product like a diet pill. You're still not quite sure if you want to spend your money yet, but as you read through the web page you see that they're offering a free web seminar related to the product or type of product, for example on health and fitness. All you have to do to get in on this seminar is sign up for their newsletter. So far this is at absolutely NO COST to you. What's the big deal, you're interested in fitness and their newsletter might introduce you to some other health care products you may want anyway, right? Okay, so now you fill in your name and email address and you're redirected to a page that asks you if any of your friends might be interested as well. Then it gives you a form to fill out their names and email addresses and they will get an email directing them to the same web page. That's Tell A Friend, in a nutshell.

You may be thinking to yourself, "Well the guys down at the gym might be interested in this, but why should I go through the trouble of giving this company my friends' name and email addresses?" Here's where the first part of Viral Friend Generator comes in. Now instead of just asking you to tell your friends about their website, the company is offering you a free bonus if you refer your buddies. Well now we're getting somewhere. First you got a free invite to a web seminar on health and fitness and now you're going to get another free gift for referring your friends to the website. Besides, they may want to get in on the seminar too. So now they're making it worth your while and so far it's been of absolutely no cost to you at all. So you punch in your friends' names and email addresses and get taken to a page thanking you for referring your friends, the info for the free web seminar and instructions to check your email for your free gift. Everyone wins!
